Submit Meter Reading

This Meter Reading page is displayed when you select one or more accounts from the Account List page and click the Submit Meter Reading button from the navigation bar.

Account The account number to which the meter is assigned.

Meter The meter number. (This field may not display.)

Service Address The service address for the account. (This field may not display.)

Meter Reading The meter reading is entered in these fields.

Override This field displays only after a reading has been submitted that does not match the normal usage pattern for the account. If the reading is correct, the override box can be checked and the reading will be accepted.

To submit a meter reading:

  1. Enter the meter reading for the account. Only one number can be entered in each field. Use the Tab key to move to the next field.

  2. Click Submit. The reading(s) entered is edited against the account's normal usage pattern in the history. If the new reading does not fall within the normal usage pattern an edit message displays along with an Override box next to the reading in question.

  3. Verify the reading and do one of the following:

  4. A confirmation page displays when the reading(s) are accepted. Click Print and retain this information for your records.

If at any point before submitting the form you want to clear it and begin again, click Reset.
